Im back in Devon and with this prolonged summer there has been some awesome sunsets.  Grabbed my stills camera one evening and went to a local cove where i had fun taking some long exposure shots.  The coastline where i live (south devon) is stunning and i think i’ll start taking some more shots.  I don’t take ‘proper’ photographs often enough, really enjoyed it!

Here are the pick of the bunch.

For the last week Ive been filming for L’Oreal at the 25th London Fashion Week.  I worked with director Daniel Jewel (Third Man Films) and we covered some of L’Oreal’s sponsored shows interviewing designers, makeup artists, hairdressers and models.  Its the first time ive shot fashion shows and quite an experience.  Being surrounded by gorgeous models does get boring…..

Managed to get a few stills.  Thanks to Matthew Share (Soundman) for taking some of me, im wearing River Island.

Cheryl Cole L’Oreal Ad

A couple of weeks ago I was hired to shoot the ‘making of’ the new L’Oreal advert with Cheryl Cole, shot in the same location as the Nixon documentary I worked on.  It was a really fun job to do, Cheryl is great!

I will upload the film when I get permission but here’s a sneaky pic

Last week I was lucky enough to work on a documentary with DP Tim Cragg (Power of Art: Van Gogh, The Root Of All Evil).  Its about President Nixon, directed by Russell Barnes for BBC.  We were filming PTC’s with Prof. David Russell in a fantastic building on Belgrave Square.  We spent four days shooting all angles of the set, having to block out and flag 20ft of windows to achieve night.

It was a pleasure working with this team and I would jump at the chance to do so again!
